The art of repairing a cracked reputation
In their Telephone video, those peerless philosophers Lady Gaga and Beyoncé liken trust to a mirror. You can fix it if it is broken, but you will see the crack in your reflection.
This is a paraphrase – a precise quote would have required some unsightly asterisks – but the sentiment is spot-on. Toyota and Kraft Foods, two of the world’s leading companies, are now living with that crack in the mirror.
