There is no guarantee the State Government will take up the recommendations of an independent review into Tasmania's energy industry.
The Energy Supply Industry Expert Panel says its review will be two-fold, looking at pricing and service now; and developing recommendations on future prices and investments.
The panel has until August to make recommendations but the chairman, John Pierce, says there is no guarantee the Government will act on them.
