Creating Low Carbon Communities, being held on the first day of Climate Week, is the first national event bringing together community-based low-carbon project developers with City of London financial experts and other sources of professional support.
With localism firmly on the political agenda, the event's keynote speeches and training sessions will highlight the array of professional support available and demonstrate how community-based projects can raise capital and become self-financing in the long term.
Sessions feature specialist speakers from key organisations including City of London, Forum for the Future, Leapfrog, Pure: the Clean Planet Trust, Tysers Environmental Insurance Solutions, and BRE.
