Lab suspends DNA pioneer Watson

Now that some time has passed from this issue and tempers have calmed, what are we going to do next with Professor Watson.....burn him at the stake?

I have made clear my feelings on his opinions but surely we can accept Professor Watson´s unreserved apology and move on. And moving on means allowing him to continue working.

Unless he makes another revolutionary breakthrough in the future, we just need to keep in mind that his greatness derives from a very long time ago and, well, as time passes and age catches up, standards do not always keep up.

He was not a god before.....he is not a devil now!

The Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory had already distanced itself from the scientist's comments but its trustee board has also now suspended him.
