Be very careful when you do something at the WebCPA web page

I have just registered at the WebCPA web page, which publishes Accounting Today magazine, and found that the checks which allow you to subscribe to their advertising and to the advertising they sell are not only on by default but they are below the registration button, which should be at the end.
This was probably made up by some too smart webmaster who thinks that results are more important than ethics but, nevertheless, WebCPA are responsible for what happens on their site.
Be careful when you register at their site and when you do anything else with them, as questionable behavior is rarely limited to one area. Accordingly, I have taken them off the links section.

This is the text of the letter I sent them:
Dear Sirs,
I have just registered on your site and clicked on the button before realizing that after the button there were boxes checked saying that I wanted to receive your advertising.
The fact that they were checked yes by default is questionable, the fact that they were after the button and not before is unacceptable and the fact that I have not been able to change these so-called preferences because an error shows up every time I try is outrageous.
It is clear that you receive more registrations with this behavour but this way of doing so does your reputation no good.
No very impressive when those registering feel badly done by.
